Anno 117 - Layouts

This page provides an overview of my custom layouts for Anno 117: Pax Romana.

Basic Housing

This is a basic Tier 1 housing layout in Latium. 

It features full Public Service coverage via Dirt Road.

Basic Production

This is a Tier 1 housing layout in Latium. 

It features full Public Service and Incident Resolver coverage via Dirt Road, as well as double production buildings for Tunics and Pilei.

Advanced Housing

This is an advanced Tier 1 housing layout in Latium, that becomes relevant if you researched Paved Roads and can produce Concrete. 

It features full Public Service coverage via Paved Road.

Advanced Production

This is an advanced Tier 1 housing layout in Latium, that becomes relevant if you researched Paved Roads and can produce Concrete. 

It features full Public Service and Incident Resolver coverage via Paved Road, as well as double production buildings for Tunics and Pilei.

Full Production

This is an advanced Tier 1 housing layout in Latium, that becomes relevant if you researched Paved Roads and can produce Concrete. 

It features good Public Service and Incident Resolver coverage via Paved Road (single houses in the edges have no coverage). Triple production buildings for Tunics and Pilei make this layout self-sufficient. One could also integrate Porridge Stands by replacing some houses.

Basic Housing

This is a Tier II housing layout in Latium. While you can use it with Dirt Road, you will miss a lot of coverage in the corners for all Public Services and some Incident Resolvers. 

When used with Paved Roads you get good Public Service coverage (single houses in the edges have no Grammaticus coverage).

Basic Production

This is a Tier II housing layout in Latium. While you can use it with Dirt Road, you will miss a lot of coverage in the corners for all Public Services and some Incident Resolvers. 

When used with Paved Roads you get good Public Service coverage (single houses in the edges have no Grammaticus coverage).

The layout features double production buildings for Tunics and Pilei as well as one production building for every Tier II need (Bakery, Garum Works, Sandal Maker, Soap Maker, Potter, Olive Press) which are located at both ends of the middle column.

"The Cross"

This is an advanced Tier II housing layout in Latium. While you can use it with Dirt Road, you will miss a lot of coverage in the corners for all Public Services and especially Incident Resolvers. 

When used with Paved Roads you get good Public Service coverage (single houses in the edges have no Grammaticus coverage).

The layout features all necessary land based production buildings to fully supply the housing inside.

  • 3 Porridge Stand, Spinner and Pilei Felter
  • 2 Bakery, Garum Works, Sandal Maker, Soap Maker, Potter and Olive Press

"The Cartwheel"

This is an advanced Tier II housing layout in Latium using the 45° Grid. While you can use it with Dirt Road, you will miss a lot of coverage in outer circles for all Public Services and especially Incident Resolvers. 

When used with Paved Roads you get full Public Service coverage.

The Anno Designer Layout has been hand-drawn for the 45° grid, so there may be some inconsistencies.

For now there is no production in this layout, but you could easily integrate it.

Basic Housing

It features full Public Service coverage via Dirt Road.

Basic Production

This is a Tier 1 housing layout in Albion. 

It features full Public Service and Incident Resolver coverage via Dirt Road, as well as double production buildings for Tunics and Reed Shoes.

"Swamp City"

This is a Tier 1 housing layout in Albion. You need to research Drainage first in order to build this layout in the swamp area – hence the layout name. Drainage channels are connected in the North and an access street is connected in the South.

It features good Public Service and Incident Resolver coverage via Dirt Road (single houses in the outer circle have no coverage), as well as double production buildings for Tunics and Reed Shoes.

The Anno Designer Layout has been hand-drawn for the 45° grid, so there may be some inconsistencies.

Mercators - Early Production

This is a basic roman Tier II housing layout in Albion for use in early stages of the game (no Fanum unlocked).

It features full Public Service (Market, Bardic Hall, Grammaticus) and Incident Resolver coverage via Dirt Road, as well as double production buildings for Tunics and Reed Shoes.

Mercators - "The Dog Bone"

This is an advanced roman Tier II housing layout in Albion. While you can use it with Dirt Road, you will miss a lot of coverage in the corners for all Public Services and especially Incident Resolvers. When used without Fanum, it can be replaced by a third Grammaticus.

It features full Public Service and Incident Resolver coverage via Paved Road.

The layout features all necessary land based production buildings to fully supply the housing inside:

  • 4 Spinner and Shoe Weaver
  • 2 Bakery, Salsicium, Fibularium and Potter

Smiths - Full Production

This is an advanced celtic Tier II housing layout in Albion.

It features full Public Service and Incident Resolver coverage via Dirt Road.

The layout features all necessary land based production buildings to fully supply the housing inside.

  • 3 Hosier, Wire-Twister, Shieldbeater
  • 4 Horner
